Halo Infinite Season 3 is slated for release early next year, so here’s everything we know about the game’s third season ahead of its release.

The brand new winter update for Halo Infinite brought a much needed second wind to the game. With the final drop of Forge, plus new maps and content, the Halo community is diving back into the game.

The next big content drop for Infinite will be Season 3, so here’s everything you need to know about the included content, release date, and leaks for Season 3 before it goes live early next year.

Halo Infinite Season 3 release date: When does the next season start?

While 343’s original plan called for Season 3 to begin in November 2022, the game’s major delays pushed all content months behind that schedule. At the time of writing, the The official start date for Season 3 is March 7, 2023 and will run through June 27, 2023.

Halo Infinite Season 3 will be called Echoes Within and, similar to Season 2, will feature an all-new Battle Pass and content focused on the season’s theme and concept.

Halo Infinite Season 3 map leaks

With each new season of Halo, players can usually expect new maps to appear alongside the new Battle Pass and additional content. And while 343 has yet to reveal what these new maps might look like, leaks are circulating on Reddit announcing three new locations for players to dive into.

The three leaked maps include a desert location, a high-altitude UNSC-like base, and the third appears to be a location similar to that in infinite multiplayer. We’ll be sure to update this section as these new maps are confirmed by the development team.

New Halo Infinite weapons and gadgets are coming in Season 3

One thing we do know for sure is that Season 3 will introduce a brand new weapon to Halo Infinite. The weapon is called the M392 Bandit and is a weapon similar to the DMR. Given that the DMR isn’t included in Infinite, it’s likely that the Bandit will take on the role of a high-velocity rifle compared to the Battle Rifle.

Alongside this new weapon, it was also announced that Season 3 will introduce a new gadget in the form of a shroud screen. This feature allows players to hide in a cloud of smoke that makes them disappear from the in-game radar, even when firing weapons.
