Bangalore, India, November 25, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Sonata Software, a global IT services and technology solutions company, announced that it has signed an agreement with Bermudas headquartered in Global Cloud Xchange (GCX), a leading network service provider providing global connectivity for new media providers, telcos and enterprises. Sonata Software, selected by GCX as the technology and business transformation partner of choice, will support and maintain the end-to-end application landscape and assist GCX in migrating from legacy technologies and platforms to deliver a strategic business transformation in this multi-year agreement to allow.

GCX provides high-bandwidth connectivity and globally managed network services, including managed ICT, cybersecurity and UCaaS solutions, to a range of blue-chip customers including hyperscalers, telecom operators, new media providers and enterprises around the world. Its 66,000 km of cables stretch across 46 countries North America to Asiawith a particularly strong position on the EuropeAsia and intra-Asian routes.

Back in Sep 2022, GCX announced that regulators have approved the closing of 3i Infrastructure Plc. Acquisition of 100% of the shares in GCX. During this period, global traffic demand growth continues to exceed 25 percent per year. At the same time, increasing demand for digital transformation is driving demand for globally managed network services, with growth estimates approaching 10 percent per year. Earlier this July, GCX had announced strong cash flow and steady linear growth to support increasing fiber connectivity needs in both established hubs and emerging markets on its world-leading privately owned submarine networks.

Today’s announcement is a step in that direction to enable GCX to transform its technology landscape and empower internal teams to deliver the market-leading experience to their customers.
