Fahad Mustafa credits Bollywood’s Govinda with inspiring him to take action.

DUBAI (Online) – Pakistani actors Sajal Aly, Fahad Mustafa and Humayun Saeed were recognized for their respective work in the entertainment industry at the Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai.

Mustafa credited Bollywood star Govinda in his acceptance speech with inspiring him to take up acting in the first place. He also rushed off the stage and hugged the “Coolie No.1” actor in a hug and shook his hand.

On Saturday, Aly was named Pakistani Cinema’s Favorite Face, Saeed was named Pakistani Cinema’s Trendsetter and Mustafa was named Promising Star of Pakistan. In his speech, Saeed talked about his victory and the opportunity to go to India, Aly thanked him for giving her the opportunity to act and believe in her. While the ‘Quad-e-Azam Zindabad’ actor dedicated his speech to Govinda.

“It’s an honor, be it a Pakistani or an Indian actor. To be on the Filmfare stage we all prepared our speeches, Sajal, I can’t top that by the way, you (Sajal) did a great job. I started acting in the first place because of Govinda sir. We are your fans and in Pakistan we always thought if we have to behave a certain way it has to be like you and then came Ranveer,” said Mustafa.

He added that he was lucky to be on the same stage as Govinda and asked the audience for a round of applause for the star. “I hope Pakistan and India get together again to do a good job,” he said.

It wasn’t just Mustafa who starred alongside Bollywood celebrities, Aly also had a moment with Janhvi Kapoor before taking to the stage.

Hema Malini, Arjun Kapoor Ayushmann Khurrana, Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumi Pednekar, Manushi Chhillar, Vaani Kapoor, Manish Paul, Rakhi Sawant, Tamannaah Bhatia, Bharti Singh, Kanika Kapoor, Sharvari Wagh, Tejasswi Prakash and Karan Kundrra were among many other Bollywood celebrities also seen at the awards.
