Buckshaw Parkway Train and Bus Travel
Buckshaw Parkway station opened on 3rd October 2011 and was 'officially' opened by Norman Baker MP (under Secretary for Transport) on 5th December 2011.
The station is located on the Manchester-Preston Line near to Euxton Junction which links Manchester with the West Coast Main Line. As such the station receives three train services an hour in each direction, two Northern services (Blackpool North to Manchester Victoria and Preston to Hazel Grove) and one TransPennine Express service (Blackpool North to Manchester Airport). Buckshaw is serviced by two bus routes 109 and 14. The 109 service travels to and from Preston and Chorley via Leyland and its time table is available here The 14 is a Chorley circular and starts from Chorley interchange and finished there also, the timetable for this service is available here.
